At The Pad, we strive to bridge the gap between pampering and preparation with each prenatal class we offer. We offer targeted exercises designed specifically for the pregnant body in both our yoga and Pilates classes. These chosen exercises help tone key muscles that support the growing belly, work to prevent diastasis of the abdominal muscles and strengthen the pelvic floor muscles. The classes also help provide breathing techniques, visualization methods and other coping mechanisms for dealing with the reality of labor and delivery.
At The Pad, we provide a supportive environment that allows new moms time each week for themselves, while gently and effectively helping to get her body back into shape and repair the pelvic floor, which will also benefit future pregnancies.
