Giving birth to a baby is the most athletic event most women will ever experience. For this reason we encourage our pregnant clients to exercise during their pregnancy.
Our Prenatal/Postnatal Pilates classes are designed specifically for the changing pregnant body, as well as the recovering body of a new mom. They are intended to target key muscles that both support the growing belly, and strengthen the muscles that will help during labor, delivery and recovery. Prenatal clients should start prenatal classes as soon as they learn of their pregnancy, to ensure a safe and supportive environment. New moms are encouraged to attend these classes for at least the first 3-6 months postpartum, depending on the recovery time.
We also offer Prenatal Private Pilates sessions, scheduled at your convenience.
