Sarah has been practicing yoga for a decade now. Growing up down the street from the beach, it was only natural she began practicing at a young age along with her friends and the surfing community. As she grew, her practice transformed from something she did for fun into a daily practice that allowed her to heal and connect to her body.
Sarah received her 200 Hr Vinyasa Certification with Yoga Alliance and has been teaching for almost 5 years. Sarah’s personal practice is influenced by Katonah (a mix of Hatha, Kundalini, and Taoism) as well as teachings used in Jivamukti and Iyengar. Sarah is currently working towards her 200 hours in Katonah Yoga, working primarily with Master Teacher Ivy Ray. Sarah plans on helping others heal from injuries and misalignments that result from todays society in safe but challenging way. Her teaching is alignment focused, while she finds it very important to check in with her students to see how their bodies react each step of the way. To Sarah, the safety and comfort of her students is the most important thing.
She believes in working hard and loves when clients are able to not only see but most importantly FEEL the difference they are making in their body…Strong, Happy and Healthy is what she strives for in herself and in her students.
