Rachel Mardoian moved to San Francisco from her hometown of Chicago in 2016. Although she has been practicing yoga for over ten years, it wasn’t until she moved to California that her yoga practice was amplified into not only a great way to exercise and stretch, but a mindset and way of being beyond the mat. She completed her 200-hour certification at The Pad Studios in April of 2017.
Her passion for music and movement drives her power vinyasa flow classes. Yoga serves as place for her to ground, recalibrate and play. She sees it as a space to be in your breath, slow down and drop in to your heart. Her intention in teaching is for her love of yoga to translate to her students in class – encouraging them to leave feeling refreshed, grounded, inspired, empowered and strong.
You’ll see Rachel around the studio teaching and practicing often, even though she lives by the beach in the Outer Sunset, so please introduce yourself! She loves the community at The Pad and is excited and honored to share this practice.
