Maile Sivert teaches exploratory, moderate paced flowing Hatha, as well as gentle practices, always with an emphasis on breath, alignment and yoga philosophy. She is inspired by her teacher Richard Freeman, who she has been studying with since 1998. She also teaches fascia rolling, self-massage classes informed by the Roll Model Method. She aims to create an inviting, inclusive atmosphere, where all variations are encouraged.
Maile was the steward of The Mindful Body yoga & massage studio in San Francisco for five years and has guided many yoga enthusiasts through Yoga Teacher Training Programs she co-created there.
She loves hiking, dogs, eating vegetables from her garden, foraging for wild food, swimming, doing art with her daughter and mangoes.
