As a former competitive figure skater, Lauren has always been fascinated by the mind/body connection. She first found yoga in Cleveland, Ohio and since moving to San Francisco in 2014, she has completed over 500 hours of training with Jason Crandell and Janet Stone and is currently continuing to study with Tias Little. She was a Yoga Journal ambassador for the 2019 Live Be Yoga Tour, where she traveled around the country and met with teachers, organizations and thought leaders to report on key conversations happening in yoga today. Her experience on the road has inspired her to share the practice authentically and to inspire students to live their practice – on and off the mat.
Lauren teaches a soulful, grounded and intentional class, weaving dharma into creative sequencing. Her class is often described as a moving meditation, offering students an opportunity to “flow into stillness.” She aims to share aspects of yoga philosophy in an accessible way and create an experience that is healing, nurturing and nourishing on all levels.
