Ashley’s teaching philosophy is rooted in creating space mentally, physically and spiritually. She encourages her students to take time to breathe, to embrace their changing bodies, and to honor all the hard work they are doing nourishing a new life. Ashley’s goal is that every expecting momma who takes her class will leave with a deeper understanding of her body and her pregnancy.
Ashley has been practicing yoga since 2004. After graduating from the University of Washington and moving back home to LA, she was initially attracted to the practice because of the handstands and splits, being a former competitive gymnast. Over the years, as she began to let the practice in, she realized the benefits of what she practiced on the mat, and the profound influence it had on her life off the mat. She has been teaching since 2012 and is the mother of a 4 year old daughter and a 2 year old son.
