Emma is a student of Tantric Hatha Yoga who emphasizes the movement of energy and breath throughout her flows. Her teacher is Natalie Backman, a dedicated member of the Himalayan Institute, studying under Pandit Rajmani Tigunait.
Emma designs her classes thoughtfully, accounting for external circumstances that impact students’ energetic states. She is passionate about giving practitioners access to their more subtle layers of being.
Playing competitive water polo as a teenager left her with painful sciatica that is relieved by consistent yoga practice. But she is more grateful for the mental and emotional benefits of the practice that have allowed her to move through severe anxiety and live a joyful, full life.
