When: Sunday, April 23rd | 6pm-7:30pm Where: The Pad Studios | Big Yoga Room Instructor: Lauren Cohen Join Lauren Cohen every third Sunday of the month for a special 90-minute class. This month's theme: Yin & Yang. Explore the beauty and union of dualities; grace and strength, ease and effort, stillness and movement, yin and yang. The first part of the class will be a dynamic flow leading into the second half of class which will focus on longer holds, guided meditation and a reflection exercise. This class is for seasoned practitioners looking to take their vinyasa practice to a deeper level; to feel the essence of this practice and to explore key concepts of yoga philosophy by tapping into the innate wisdom of the body. About Lauren: As a dancer and competitive figure skater since the age of four, Lauren has always loved the art of movement. When she found Cleveland Yoga during college, she had no idea what kind of an impact the practice would have on her life. She credits the teachers and yoga community in Cleveland to her teaching today. Lauren completed her 200-hour teacher training with Marni Task in Cleveland, Ohio in 2011, and has been greatly influenced by many inspiring teachers along her journey– including, Diana Vitantonio, Parker Bean, Baron Baptiste, Tami Schneider, Marni Task, Jonny Kest, Stephanie Snyder, Seane Corn and many others. Her teaching style is artful vinyasa: soulful, spiritual, challenging and empowering. Lauren is a writing contributor to Elephant Journal, a travel lover and a passionate teacher, who looks forward to sharing the empowering practice of yoga with the world.
