In Indian philosophy, there is no true separation between the human and the divine. The gods and goddesses of myth are not distant figures to be worshipped — they are maps of our own interior landscape. This evening is an invitation to meet six of them. Through the stillness of yin yoga, we will move through six goddess stories — Saraswati, Lakshmi, Durga, Kali, Parvati, and Radha — each paired with a long-held posture, a question for reflection, and time to journal. Story by story, we will explore what these ancient archetypes reveal about our creativity, our worthiness, our courage, our grief, our devotion, and our capacity to love.
No prior knowledge of mythology or yin yoga is required — only a willingness to listen, to be still, and to be surprised by what you already know. Bring a journal and pen. Props provided. All levels welcome.
