			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Christine discovered Pilates after a broken leg sidelined her from triathlon training 6 years ago.  She was humbled by the challenge of the first class.  Christine discovered muscles she never knew she had she found herself at the studio every day during her injury working to improving her form and knowledge of the practice.  When her leg healed and she resumed her triathlon training she was amazed to discover how much stronger she was in her swim, bike, and run and knew it was from strengthening her core.  Pilates quickly became a staple in her training, and a big part of her life.</p>
<p>Christine trained with Master Trainer Lara Hudson and also spent two weeks practicing at The Pilates Center in Boulder. In addition to Pilates, she has a Bachelors degree in Nutrition and Applied Economics from Cornell University and a MBA from UC Berkeley&#8217;s Haas school of Business.  She enjoys delivering an athletic and rigorous workout, leaving her clients stronger and feeling longer when they walk out of the studio.  In her spare time Christine enjoys hiking, trail running, adventure travel, water sports, and competes in triathlons.  She recently crossed the finish line at Ironman and is already training for her next. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><img class="alignleft" title="Caitlin O'Shea" src="http://www.thepadstudios.com/images/eblast/CaitlinOShea" alt="Caitlin O'Shea" width="100" height="186" />Caitlin began practicing yoga at the young age of 17. Fresh out of high school she moved to Manhattan to pursue a modeling career. The only thing that kept her alive or sane during those 3 1/2 years was her commitment to yoga. At the age of 21 she reached a cross roads: she left the modeling world behind and enrolled in her first teacher training. Her love of yoga and it&#8217;s ability to heal has taken Caitlin on a journey to even more teacher training&#8217;s and workshops over the past few years. She has been fortunate enough to study with skillful teachers all over the United States and World. Heavily influenced by Rusty Wells, Seane Corn, Dharma Mittra, Janet Stone, James Kigar, and Judy Weaver, Caitlin walks a spiritual path and her practice is rooted in Bhakti yoga. Nicknamed the &#8216;Velvet Hammer&#8217; she is widely known to weave her playful sprit, spiritual philosophy, humor, and core work into her rigorous flow. She is forever grateful to all of her teachers she has encountered along her path.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><img class="alignleft" title="Rebecca Chatfield-Taylor" src="http://www.thepadstudios.com/images/eblast/RCT" alt="Rebecca Chatfield-Taylor" width="100" height="100" />Rebecca recently completed The Pad Studios Teacher Training program and joined the studio as a Junior Pilates Instructor. After years of working in advertising in San Francisco, and fitting in workouts whenever she could, Rebecca realized that teaching fitness and helping others with their fitness goals was her true calling. An avid runner for years, Rebecca experienced first-hand how core strength and proper postural alignment can benefit all types of sports activities. She first tried Pilates in 2001, and has been a fan ever since. She particularly enjoys the precision of movement in the Pilates method, and that after a session, her clients feel more flexible, stronger, inspired and hopefully a little sweaty! Rebecca believes exercise is essential for both physical and mental health and strives to give her clients a workout that both works the body and helps to calm and focus the mind. After becoming a certified Bar Method instructor, Rebecca transitioned to working full time as a Pilates instructor at The Pad.</p>

<div>In this 2 hour workshop, we will explore some of the basic postures and break down the physical aspect of power yoga vinyasa flow. This workshop is intended for people new to yoga or for practicing students who are looking for an environment where the basic postures will be revisited slowly and thoughtfully. Students will gain a basic understanding of safe alignment and will be ready to enter all level power yoga classes upon completion. Yoga is appropriate for men and women of all ages and fitness levels. Not flexible? No worries. The only prerequisite is the willingness to show up with an open mind. Increased strength, flexibility and balance will be your reward!</div>

<li> The anatomy and physiology of pregnancy</li>
<li>How to modify your current yoga practice to accommodate a changing body</li>
<li>How to use yoga to create support and balance throughout your pregnancy, including appropriate breathing and what type of breathing to avoid</li>
<li>What postures and flow series will be most effective in supporting a pregnant body</li>
<li>Why yoga, and other forms of movement, are so important during pregnancy</li>
<li>What is happening to your body, and why it is important to get in shape or maintain fitness in preparation for your childbirth</li>
<li>Helpful natural tips to help relieve some of the discomforts associated with pregnancy</li>

<p>Honorine has spent the last two years volunteering and working in Physical Therapy and Chiropractic offices in order to broaden her knowledge of pathologies and rehab. This knowledge allows her to create specialized routines for those who are healing from injury. Her deep knowledge of anatomy allows her to help people on the path to wellness and prevent re-injury.</p>
<p>Honorine is certified through Integrated Teacher Training at a Body of Work in San Francisco and the Pilates Method Alliance®. She has been teaching group mat and apparatus classes as well as private sessions in the city for four years.</p>
