Ground the Seasonal Body for Autumn

Join Sheana for a deliciously grounding afternoon of Yin Yoga to create harmony with the earth’s cycle of Autumn

According to Chinese Medicine, Autumn is a time to harvest our energies after the Summer growth cycle.

This workshop offers practices aligned with Autumn’s sacred invitation to pause, reflect, and turn inward — to attune to the quiet wisdom within and honor the soul’s longing to slow down and simply be. When the energy of the Autumn body is out of balance, we may feel waves of grief, lingering sadness, or resistance to letting go. In balance, however, this season brings a deep sense of presence, emotional resilience, and the spacious breath needed to move gradually through life’s transitions.

This 2 hour mini-retreat includes:
– Yin yoga sequences lovingly curated to support the Lungs in Autumn
– Inviting release, deeper breath, and the graceful letting go that mirrors the season’s rhythm
– Guided pranayama (breathwork) & meditation
– Psycho-spiritual inquiry to reveal where you might be holding on and to explore letting go in your life
-Restorative yoga to allow the body to metabolize the benefits of this deep practice
-Sound Healing to offer vibrational frequencies that induce deep relaxation, helping to release stress and tension

Let’s set intention together for the Autumn. You’ll emerge feeling grounded and ready to embrace all that the Season of Harvest has to offer.

All levels welcome..

Sheana’s Seasonal Body Yin Yoga workshops sell-out so early registration is recommended.

It requires effort and focus, and challenging emotions can come up. However, you will experience a transformation if you commit to the instructions. Invite a friend and enjoy the journey! Om Symbol & Awakening

The Om Symbol represents The Universe, Eternal Nature of Existence and the Three States of Consciousness. The chant itself is meant to be the primal sound of creation. As yoga practitioners, we often offer this chant at the beginning and end of practice as a shared vibration. In this workshop, we will explore the Om Symbol, sound and deeper meaning. We will look at the map of human consciousness and how it evolves. We will also explore where we find ourselves on this map and what supports and hinders the expansion of our own awareness and our own inner freedom. Are we caught in the monkey mind, are we floating in non dual bliss, do we jump back and forth… and why?!

Participants can expect a stimulating talk and discussion, a partner based exercise exploring inner freedom, the sounding of Om… and a deeper insight into the nature of our practice. Bring a notebook and pen and a curious mind. All are welcome!

Sound Healing 101: Foundations of Sound from Theory to Practice

Sunday, 11/16 from 12:00 – 3:00 pm

Description:
Curious about sound healing and how to bring it into your practice or offerings? This 3-hour experiential workshop provides a welcoming introduction to the foundations of sound as a healing modality. We’ll explore how to use vibration and harmonics to create meaningful experiences for yourself and others. This workshop is perfect for anyone wanting to explore sound as a personal practice, yoga instructors looking to incorporate sound into their classes, and those curious about the first steps towards sound facilitation. No musical background required.

What You’ll Learn:

  • How sound healing works on a practical level—what vibration and harmonics do for the mind and body.
  • The unique personalities of different instruments: Tibetan bowls, crystal bowls (frosted and alchemy), and other sound tools, plus how to choose ones that fit your style and intention.
  • Simple music theory and harmonics to help you create sounds that feel grounded, balanced, and beautiful.
  • Hands-on techniques for confidently playing crystal singing bowls and blending sounds with other instruments.
  • Ways to bring sound into your life—whether that’s for personal meditation, deepening your yoga offerings, or exploring the first steps toward facilitation.
  • Tips for selecting and purchasing bowls so you can find instruments that truly resonate with you.

What’s Included:

  • Intro to the World of Sound: A big-picture overview of sound healing—covering instruments, the differences between frosted and alchemy bowls, and a super simple dive into how sound “works.”
  • Hands-On Practice: Guided instruction on playing crystal singing bowls and experimenting with layering sounds to create resonance that feels good to both player and listener.
  • Instrument Guidance: Support with choosing your “bowl-mates,” including an optional complimentary consultation before or after the workshop to help you find the right bowls (frosted or alchemy) for your personal or professional practice.
  • Personal Mentorship: An optional private follow-up session with Emma after the workshop to support your growth and answer any questions as you integrate what you’ve learned.
  • Guest Pass: Complimentary admission to one of Emma’s public sound baths, so you can experience how a full session feels from the receiver’s side.

About Emma: Emma Peck is a lifelong musician, psychotherapist, yoga instructor, and sound healer who has led over 200 sound baths across the Bay Area and beyond.
