It’s tiring and exhausting to think too much. It’s not practical. We overthink because a part of us wants to protect us or keep us busy. But this kind of thinking often turns into blaming and criticizing ourselves. Meditation is the solution, it is the process of learning how to decide when to think and when to be present.
We are human, which means we need to think to get things done and be productive. But many of us do not know when to silence the thinking, causing it to constantly continue throughout every moment of our lives.
If we raise our kids and we are overthinking we are not present with them. If we do anything in life and we are not paying attention it prevents us from happiness, from connection and from love.
We do so much in life to not think; drinking, TV, social media, smoking. But these distractions don’t really solve the problem of why we overthink. To truly deal with it, we need to figure out why we do it in the first place and then commit to practicing meditation. Meditation is the key to being more alive, forming stronger connections with others, and really being in the moment.

During this session, you will learn:

You’ll also engage in somatic exercises to connect with yourself, empowering you to understand your genuine self and build self trust. You will reclaim your heart, center and confidence while connecting with others in the group. It’s important not to do this work alone.

Priya Glikman is the founder of The MindSet Journey. Utilizing the ancient wisdom of Zen and the cutting-edge technology of Trilotherapy, Priya guides her clients on a journey of self-discovery and transformation. Priya is an internationally recognized expert in the field, a sought-after meditation teacher, personal transformation facilitator, and seminar leader.
Priya is a Dharma and meditation teacher who moved to California with her family 6 years ago after a lifetime of traveling and studying in Europe, Israel, the US, and Southeast Asia. Priya’s most notable studies happened in Paros, Greece where she was a student of Zen Master Nissim Amon. She spent 6 years on the island studying Zen and Buddhism in a monastery environment and left the island with her Dharma Transmission as well as being a key contributor to her teacher’s most significant contribution – trilotherapy.
