Amy Naber
Amy teaches yoga because she loves it and believes it can be for everyone! She started teaching Yoga in 2001 after her first training at Its Yoga in San Francisco with founder Larry Schultz. She fell in love with Ashtanga Yoga and the Primary Series of Asanas. Before yoga she was a personal trainer and fitness coach but found her true passion in yoga. Since that time Amy experienced an injury and a lot of life changes – including getting married, having a baby and more. She experienced a need to connect more deeply (beyond the physical) and found value in slowing the physical practice down sometimes. So in 2005 she spread her wings and got trained in Restorative Yoga and Pre and Post-natal yoga while receiving a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology and Hypnotherapy. Amy has over 20 years of experience in the health and wellness field. She integrates her passion for optimal health, spirituality, and emotional well-being in private sessions, private practice, speaking engagements and group classes. Amy has designed health and wellness programs for clients in California, Hawaii, and Colorado. She uses her unique background to guide clients in improving their health and well being while achieving personal goals. She loves teaching group classes, loves to witness people connect breath with movement and finds the yoga community a true gift!
