Companionship in Compassion: Cultivating a Loving Presence
A 3 part series – Facilitated by Zoom, in person, together but distanced.
Sundays, May 3rd + 17th + 31st from 2:00-4:00pm
Please join Becca in an exploration of what happens when we allow our experiences to be met with kindness. This workshop series will draw upon three wisdom traditions: yogic, psychoanalytic and, buddhist. We will use breath work, guided meditation, self-inquiry and reflection through journaling, sharing and witnessing in community. We will support each other as we lean into our individual and collective vulnerabilities, thereby cultivating the capacity to be present with what is, respond instead of react, and extend to ourselves and others the gift of our presence with loving-kindness and compassion. Each week we will build on what we have experienced and learned from each other in the previous sessions. This workshop is offered in the hope that our time together will be both deeply grounding and radically freeing. Bring yourself, something comfortable to sit on, writing materials, and an open heart.
“Only from the heart can you touch the sky.” – Rumi
It is recommended that this special offering be taken as a series. However, if you cannot attend all three, please reach out to Becca at email@example.com.
