Metta meditation, or loving-kindness meditation, is a Buddhist practice for cultivating compassion for ourselves, others and the planet. In metta, we work to develop feelings of ease and love that are as boundless as the ocean.

This workshop series will draw upon various wisdom traditions including: yogic philosophy, analytic depth psychology and buddhist philosophy. We will use yoga and movement, breath work, dharma, self-inquiry, self study and reflection through journaling. Each session we will build on what we have experienced and learned from the previous month. The workshop is designed to be done in a series and you are welcome to drop in!

One of the former co-owners of The Pad Studios, Becca holds this space and it’s community deep in her heart. She returns this Summer to offer a series of workshops. She will also be filling in for Rosemary on Saturday mornings 9am for the month of August! We are so excited to have her back at The Pad this Summer!
As a practicing psychotherapist as well as a long time yoga teacher and practitioner, Becca has a deep passion for mixing the traditions of Yoga, Psychology and the Transpersonal. Becca has been practicing and studying yoga for over two decades. Her classes have been described as embodied and inspired, rooted in the conversation with Self. She is known for her compassion, her dedication and seeking nature, which can be seen on and off the mat. She teaches yoga to inspire people to live in a constant and deep conversation with themselves, where they can access meaning and purpose through an embodied existence. Teachers that have inspired her include: Matt Ezraty, Tias Little, Jason Crandell, Jason Bowman, Stacie Overby, Stephanie Snyder and Many More. Her training and education includes: 500 Hour Yoga TTC, Pilates Certified, Reiki Level 1 and 2 Certified, as well as master degree in Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies.
