			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><img class="alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-598" title="1019-0219_construct" src="http://thepadstudios.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/1019-0219_construct1-66x100.jpg" alt="" width="66" height="100" />Since learning to ski at age 4, Brita has been an avid athlete throughout her life. Golf, tennis, hiking, swimming and triathlons are some of her favorite sports and a big reason why she relocated to San Francisco from New York City. Brita has been practicing Pilates regularly since 2008, after a doctor recommended she try it to ease her chronic joint and back pain. One session on the reformer provided such relief that she was able to play 18 holes of golf the following day. With a desire to help others find their best body, Brita completed her teacher training with Lara Hudson at Mercury Fitness High Performance Pilates in 2010. She is currently a Junior Instructor at The Pad Studios. Brita’s background includes working closely with professional golfers and Olympic athletes during her career in sports television. With an MBA from Thunderbird, Brita has spent the last 8 years coaching and advising founders of companies and C-level executives. In her teaching, Brita is continuously amazed at how Pilates transforms the body and increases performance in other sports and daily activities.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><img class="alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-592" title="Headshot" src="http://thepadstudios.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/Headshot-86x100.jpg" alt="" width="86" height="100" />Kamryn is a fully accredited instructor in a variety of Pilates formats and has worked in the movement industry for 13 years.   She began teaching Pilates following a dance injury.  Pilates helped balance her body while she learned to maintain strength and flexibility.    With extensive experience in movement and an eye for fine detail, Kamryn is able to identify and correct body alignment and muscle patterning problems, helping to relieve muscle tension and pain.  She has also worked extensively with Pre and Post Natal students, herniated and bulging disk injuries, and hip replacements.   Additionally she has been a Pilates trainer for a semi professional cricket team.</p>
<p>Traveling has lead her to teach around the world in diverse settings with a variety of people.  Her mission is to design workouts to meet your fitness and/or rehabilitative goals.  She holds certifications with STOTT Pilates, Australian Pilates Method Association (APMA), Pilates Method Alliance (PMA), as well as a BA Degree in Dance and Psychology from the University of Iowa.  In her spare time she enjoys biking, hiking, climbing, and half marathons.</p>

A graduate of University of San Diego and a former dancer with the Morca Academy of Dance in Washington, Jessica credits Pilates for keeping her body in shape, maintaining perfect posture, and keeping her mind and body connected. Through her work with Dr. Dean Ornish&#8217;s Preventive Medicine Research Institute, Jessica is able to exercise her interest in nutrition and consult with clients from around the world on the importance of healthy lifestyle and fitness choices. Her philosophy for her clients is to teach them that they already have the perfect body &#8211; it is their job to train, nourish, strengthen, and love it. In her free time, Jessica loves to cook, practice yoga and spend time with her friends. She also loves to hike and travel and recently combined the two as she summited Africa&#8217;s infamous Mt. Kilimanjaro.</p>

<p>Peace and Well Being! Rebecca is a certified Vinyasa flow yoga teacher, a certified Prenatal yoga teacher and a registered nurse. She  completed her 200 hour in depth teaching training through the White Lotus Foundation in Santa Barbra with Ganga white and Tracy Reich and advance Prenatal Training with Jane Austin. Trained in Vinyasa Flow yoga, She would consider her style of teaching just, that a flow. She is capable of catering a flow to any yoga level, activity level, and energy level. For like in nature there are many different flows; soft, hard, fast and slow. She links one posture to think next and connects breath with asana. In each class session she tries to provide an opportunity to build both strength and flexibility in the body. Rebecca believes that yoga is a gift to self and a powerful support for the journey down the road of life</p>

When she discovered Pilates years ago, she knew immediately she had found a method that would be a life-long passion. Dina graduated from UC Berkeley and joined the corporate world, but the lure of Pilates proved unrelenting. She decided to devote herself to sharing the transformative benefits of Pilates and became certified through BASI under the direct tutelage of Kristi Cooper-White. Since then, Dina has worked at multiple Pilates studios in San Francisco and has continued to advance her Pilates education through various seminars and workshops. As a certified NASM Personal Trainer, Dina enjoys the ability to expand her clients’ horizons through varied approaches to gaining and maintaining physical fitness.  Dina is inspired everyday by the benefit that dedicated training can bring to all aspects of one’s life, and enjoys sharing her passion with people of all ages and abilities.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><img class="alignleft size-medium wp-image-549" title="photo(2)" src="http://thepadstudios.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/photo21-300x291.jpg" alt="" width="126" height="122" />Nicole Fosberg is a P.M.A. certified instructor, and has an extensive background in Pilates, Dance, Yoga, and Somatics.  She is truly passionate about teaching and sharing the benefits that the Pilates Method instills.  Nicole has been a student of Pilates since the age of twelve, and in 2010 Nicole celebrated her tenth year as a teacher. She is a graduate from SFSU with her Bachelors of Arts in Dance. Her background in dance gives her a deep understanding of discipline and bio-mechanics.  Growing up as a dancer Nicole suffered from many physical injuries and found Pilates to be an effective way to both rehabilitate and cross train. Critical to her own well being Nicole formally began her studies with the Body Arts and Science Institute, and world-renowned practitioner Rael Isacowitz, MA,  and Professor Karen Clippinger M.S.P.E. Nicole’s  desire to continue her education beyond the B.A.S.I. technique directed her to her mentor Susan Salk, who is a Ron Fletcher instructor, and a truly masterful teacher of Pilates and movement.  Salk considers her to be &#8220;one of the most promising young teachers in the field.” Nicole’s integration of the Fletcher repertoire promotes a work out that helps her clients connect with the integration of body, mind, and breath.  Since moving to San Francisco four years ago Nicole has modeled for publications demonstrating classical Pilates, and has been a large integral part of a teacher training program.  Nicole’s diverse background allows her to create both a mindful and challenging workout for ALL bodies, and is thrilled to be able to share her love of Pilates at The Pad!</p>
